Dr June Stevens NMD, received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2004 and completed her family practice residency, with an emphasis in cardiology and women’s health, at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale Arizona. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine. Dr Stevens lectures throughout the United States on topics related to Naturopathic Medicine and was a contributing author for the cardiovascular health sections of the book, Prescription for Nutritional Healing 4th Ed. Blending 15 years of cardiovascular experience with Naturopathic Medicine, Dr Stevens focuses her practice in cardiology and women’s health care. Linda Joy Stone was trained in California and Beijing, China. She has been practicing Chinese medicine and acupuncture for 20 years. She currently practices at Southwest Integrative Healthcare as well as at the University of Arizona Campus Health Sports Medicine Department and previously at Canyon Ranch Health Resort, where she implemented "Acuphoria", an anti-stress protocol. She is also a co-owner of the Asian Institute of Medical, www.asianinstitute.edu Studies that offers Masters degrees in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is committed to "enlivening medicine for the body, mind and soul" and "getting to the heart of the matter". Her focus is on psychospiritual concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress and tension disorders, as well as pain, allergies, women's health, issues of aging and being in transition. Lauren Kanzler, C.C.N. is a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist. Originally receiving her degree from the University of Arizona, she has been practicing in the Tucson community for the past 27 years. Lauren is a mindfulness-based, "whole foods" nutritionist with a strong orientation in wholistic and complimentary medicine. She designed the original nutrition programming at Miraval~Life in Balance where she worked for 5 years. She also worked for Canyon Ranch and provided services through the Tucson Jewish Community Center as the Wellness Director in the 90's. Lauren has extensive experience in working with weight management and eating disorders, diabetes and metabolic syndrome, gastro-intestinal disorders of all types, osteoporosis management, food allergies, childhood nutrition as well as adult and aging adult nutrition. Ronalee Schmidt, M.A., LMFT, LISAC - is a professional, licensed experienced therapist, who offers traditional, alternative,and spiritual pathways to healing. Karen Autrey is an RN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has 30 years experience in a variety of clinical settings as well as medical companies related to cardiology and computers used in hospital settings. She also has extensive patient and client education experience. Karen is a certified massage therapist and Integral Yoga instructor and has attended workshops in therapeutic touch, shiatsu and reflexology. She has had a lifelong interest in an integrative medical model.
